US firm hired to aid decontamination of Fukushima Daiichi site

Perma-Fix, has been awarded a contract to provide technical consulting for decontamination of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, and will be providing technical approaches and plans to decontaminate and reduce the radiological dose located in the refuelling area, including walls, ceiling and the gantry crane of the Unit 2 Reactor Building.
