Definition of personal intellectual property

Considering Canada’s Supreme Court Decisions In This Week’s WIPO Proceedings  January 1, 2010 – 01:18 pm
Pictures As members of the international intellectual property community prepare for their third day of the 24th session of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR), they are told to keep the spirit of Beijing alive, referring to the recently concluded Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances. However, there is reason to keep another country's spirit in copyright law in mind as well. Last week, the Supreme Court of Canada handed down five critically important copyright judgments that may very well colour the proposals made by member states at the SCCR.

Question on intellectual property

I need to draft up a "Prior Inventions" document to attach at the end of a contract of employment at a tech company. Because I am an artist (the company itself is tech, but I will work in the graphic design department), it is difficult for me to list every single sketch or piece of artwork I have ever created up to this point. However, "artwork" is listed under their definition of inventions. Also, must I included photos or just descriptions of the artworks?
Thank you so much.

Right: Here's the definition currently in there

"As used in this agreement, the term "Invention" means any ideas, concepts, information, materials, processes, data, programs, knowhow, improvements, discoveries, developments, designs, artwork, formulae, other copyrightable works, and techniques and all Intellectual Property Rights therein. The term "Intellectual Property Rights" means all trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, mask work rights... development; or b) Result from any work performed by you for company
To the extent a provision in the foregoing Agreement purports to require you to assign an Invention otherwise excluded from the preceding paragraph, the provision is against the public policy of this state and is unenforceable."
I've been having a bit of a difficult time understanding the last part of that section.

It is not likely that I shall say anything new here today. If I do, it will be of only minor significance. In all of my remarks, to paraphrase an old quip, the important will not be new, and the new will not be important. For statesmen, historians, and philosophers have been thinking, speaking, and writing on the general subject, of which my topic is a part, for nearly...rms of government man has yet devised. Our Founding Fathers thought so too, and the wisest Romans had already come to that same conclusion. So I am in excellent company. It is company which we hope more and more Americans will join. To that end we are saying everywhere we can, and asking all of you and tens of thousands to say with us: This is a Republic, not a Democracy. Let's keep it that way!

Irreverent Observations: William Blum

Irreverent Observations
Gore Vidal has observed that America is not, contrary to popular
mythology, a country founded by the religiously persecuted. It
was started by Puritan zealots who left England because
they were not allowed to persecute others. The Puritans
(Pilgrims) went to Holland seeking a more compatible atmosphere,
but then migratedto America bec...octor, not in choosing a politician. A
politician's beliefs are what count.
After last year's national, state and local elections, I am now
convinced that taxation without representation would have been a
much better system.
